                                                                           Introduction

Hi everyone! My name is Nakeiya Nixon and I am a senior here at albertus majoring in social science with hopes to becoming a LCSW one day. Throughout my school career ,I've been working as an Medical Assistant in primary care and Ob/Gyn. In the midst of the pandemic, July 2020 I accepted a new job offer where I work as an Lab collection specialist, where I collect drug screenings. I love my new role because I get many people from all different walks of life and it's definitely much more easier going and laid back than what I was use to, making my senior year of schooling a breeze.

Aside from working and school, I credit my self a foodie, lover of traveling and all things turtles. I am super excited about this course. I have always taking an interest in photography and would seem to always be the one snapping pics in my social group settings or throughout travels. I'm excited to learn new skills to apply in my photography adventures and hopefully to help persuade me to buy a real camera rather than my Iphone. 

I Look forward to a great summer semester and getting to know my classmates more. Best of luck to everyone.
