This one was challenging for a few reasons - I couldn't get anyone to enthusiastically pose for me without actually begging a little, and only one of my dogs would sit still long enough to photograph her!
Working with direct sunlight is both a bigger challenge but can offer bigger rewards. I love the sepia treatment with the very bottom portrait. In each of these your paying close attention to the way the light is working as well as to composition. Your editing shows strong intention to help realize the final effect… Which is always of course the main point. Technically, they worked out pretty well but do verge on the high light on the face becoming overexposed. As this happens we lose the ability to edit for texture and detail. All in all a very strong series… Well done.
